چکیده

Computing IP networks use the TCP/IP protocol extensively for connection-oriented service access, and UDP/IP is used for best-effort connectionless data transfer. Commonly used RPC mechanisms like Java RMI, IIOP and CORBA use TCP/IP which has connection set-up and management overheads. For systems with high speed and high frequency RPC (Remote Procedure Calls), connection management overheads can affect the system performance and overload the server. Such is the case with a number of measurement and controls engineering applications where the field devices communicate continuously with the field bus server, at a high frequency. The control software for such systems have to consider the real time performance issues, load balancing and fault tolerance. Moreover, the plug-nplay field-bus Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) require reconfiguration at every node they are installed and therefore automated re-configuration and re-construction could save time and effort for measuring and monitoring processes. To reduce the communication overheads caused due to connection management, RPC over UDP/IP can be used as an alternative to RPC over TCP/IP, for high frequency RPC calls. In addition, the server load can be sufficiently reduced by transferring the remote service parameters to the client end (for re-construction), instead of executing the entire service at the server end for each client. Reconstructing the remote service at the client end by using these service parameters, aided with RPC implementation over datagrams, can improve the system performance and help perform load balancing and fault tolerance tasks. Reconfiguration and optimal placement of distributed generations in distribution networks in the presence of remote voltage controlled bus using exchange market algorithm

Abstract: Since distribution networks have a large share of the losses in power systems, reducing losses in these networks is one of the key issues in reducing the costs of global networks, including issues Which has always been considered. In this thesis, the reconfiguration of the distribution network in the presence of distributed generation sources (DGs) with respect to two types of bus, P ...

Cluster Based Cross Layer Intelligent Service Discovery for Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks

The ability to discover services in Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) is a major prerequisite. Cluster basedcross layer intelligent service discovery for MANET (CBISD) is cluster based architecture, caching ofsemantic details of services and intelligent forwarding using network layer mechanisms. The cluster basedarchitecture using semantic knowledge provides scalability and accuracy. Also, the mini...

A Novel Fuzzy Logic Base Scheduling Mechanism for Service Differentiation in IP Networks

Quality of Service (QoS) refers to a set of rules or techniques that help the network administrators use the available network resources optimally to manage the effects of congestion and to treat the applications according to their needs. The differentiated services architecture (DiffServ) allows providing quality of service to users. The major DiffServ premise is that individual flows with sim...

DALD:-Distributed-Asynchronous-Local-Decontamination Algorithm in Arbitrary Graphs

Network environments always can be invaded by intruder agents. In networks where nodes are performing some computations, intruder agents might contaminate some nodes. Therefore, problem of decontaminating a network infected by intruder agents is one of the major problems in these networks. In this paper, we present a distributed asynchronous local algorithm for decontaminating a network. In mos...
